John Corigliano\u2019s <em>Fern Hill<\/em>, composed in 1960 and revised in 1999, sets the evocative early poem by Dylan Thomas. In contrast, the second half presents Mozart\u2019s monumental\u00a0<em>Mass in C minor, K. 427<\/em>, often referred to as the \u201cGreat\u201d Mass.
