Requiem and Valor

Experience a stirring and profound evening with the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra Wind Symphony, led by conductor Felix Torres. The program opens with Silva’s Heroes of the Air, followed by Deleruyelle’s evocative Fields of Honor: Battle of the Somme and Poelman’s powerful Jeanne D’Arc. After intermission, the ensemble performs Mertens’ haunting Requiem for a Future War and Maslanka’s intense and moving Give Us This Day.
