Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles (Levitt LA) is celebrating its 18th annual concert series by presenting 10 world-class performances that are all free and open to everyone. The concerts will be held outdoors, under the stars, with the stunning backdrop of LA’s skyline at MacArthur Park.

For 18 years, Levitt LA has been creating a sense of community through music. This summer, they will once again showcase the diverse cultural landscape of Los Angeles with a fantastic lineup of artists, transforming MacArthur Park into a vibrant and energized urban sonic oasis.

The season runs from June 21 through August 30, 2025.
Get ready for an electrifying evening of Afrobeat, global rhythms, and soul-shaking dance as Levitt LA, Fusicology and KCRW presents Afro Funké Africa featuring Blaq Pages, Wazumbians (Ghana), Africa in America (Dance), DJ Novena Carmel (KCRW), and special guests to the Levitt LA stage—hosted by Rocky Dawuni and produced by Cary Sullivan!

Afro Funke’ Africa is a legendary Los Angeles collective known for its globally inspired fusion of Afrobeat, soul, reggae, and funk. A long-standing force in the city’s music scene, Afro Funke unites live musicians, DJs, and dancers to create an uplifting, high-energy celebration of pan-African culture and sound.

Blaq Pages is a dynamic Afrobeat DJ and cultural curator whose infectious sets fuse Afrobeats, Amapiano, hip hop, and global dance sounds. Known for igniting dance floors from LA to Lagos, he champions the African diaspora through rhythm, movement, and unapologetic joy.

Wazumbians (Ghana), hailing from Accra, Ghana, deliver a modern take on Afrobeat and highlife with infectious grooves and powerful social messages. With rich instrumentation, traditional Ghanaian rhythms, and irresistible energy, their performances are both a cultural experience and a nonstop dance party.

Africa in America is a vibrant dance and music ensemble dedicated to the preservation and evolution of African diasporic traditions. Through electrifying choreography, live drumming, and cultural storytelling, they bring the heartbeat of Africa to the stage with passion and precision.

DJ Novena Carmel (KCRW) spins a global mix of soul, funk, Afrobeat, and rare grooves that move the body and lift the spirit. Known for her deep crate knowledge and contagious energy, she seamlessly connects cultures and generations through sound.
