Featuring the renowned Western Standard Time ska orchestra, who will take center stage during this dynamic concert experience set against the iconic backdrop of downtown Los Angeles, delivering their signature high-energy sound with an exciting twist.
Joining them is a collective of talented local Los Angeles musicians, infusing the classic ska framework with their rich cultural heritage, creating a musical alchemy that promises to be both exhilarating and unforgettable.
Western Standard Time’s headlining performance will feature special guests Maria de Pilar (Los Abandoned), Jackie Mendez, Charles Farrar (Boogaloo Assassins, See Spot), Luis (Raskahuele), and JP (Viernes 13). The evening’s vibrant lineup will also feature performances by:
* DJ Queline: open format DJ who takes you on a journey through the sounds that shaped her diverse musical tastes growing up in LA.
* Mobtown: Los Angeles-based nine-piece band specialized in reviving the traditional ska sound of the late 1950s.
* The Elysians: traditional ska revue from Southern California featuring members of The Untouchables, Pachuco Jose, Arise Roots, The Wise Guys, The MoonTones, and The Moan.
* Blanco Y Negro: Los Angeles-based Latin ska band that has been entertaining audiences with their infectious rhythms and upbeat sound for over a decade.
* The Untouchables: Legendary ska band formed in Los Angeles in 1981
